Correct, you can feel those tendons around the front of your wrist!
But, the flexor muscles and tendons located in the anterior forearm and wrist, while the extensors located at the posterior side. Does it make sense?

All the information for your homework, course, and exam are given in the class notes and Virtual Campus. I will delete the homework instructions about the anatomy book.
The main reason is that the new edition is sooooo long and has so many more details then needed that it makes students more anxious. For that reason, I have decided not to ask students to buy the book. Instead, please focus on the classnotes I give you, the virtual campus and the pathology book only.

First, if someone has a slow heart rate I will ask the client the following:
How severe your condition is? If they don't know, I will give a short and brief massage and not super relaxing.
How does it affect you? If the condition affect the client, the massage I will give will be shorter, not need and not super relaxing
This is why its imporntat to know the anatomy and physiology.

Exactly. How many times you hear stories who go to a doctor for second opinion? or one doctor is better in treating certain condition. So, the decision if to give massage or not, also relate to each therapist. And this also happens in medicine. If a client has complicated situation, the GP will not treat him/her but refer them to a specialist. The same in massage: the fact that you CAN treat someone, does not mean that you WANT or KNOW how to do it.
For now, the most important thing is to be good in getting information from the client. The will follow.
