As a yoga teacher massage is a vital part of my self-care routine and I've received many massages over the years.

Dave's massage was excellent. The environment was lovely and comfortable, and he went through a thorough on-boarding process. He made it clear that the massage would consist of areas in which he has experienced specific training and that he'd be able to work on those areas in detail, and that if I wanted other areas it would be more exploratory for him. I was happy for him to practice his techniques and do what he felt appropriate.

The actual massage was extremely good. He has a great, instinctive, touch and is able to 'read' the body with his hands. It's a rare skill, and not many therapists have it, and it meant that he was able to use the exact amount of pressure that was needed in the exact places that required it (even though I didn't even know it myself).

Over all a great experience and I'm certain that Dave will make an exceptional therapist on completion of the course. I'm looking forward to our next session already!

I had my first ever massage with Dave . I was nervous but he put me at ease , explaining the process and offered my options around oils .

He conducted an initial assessment/profile on me and assured me everything is confidential.

He took steps to to insure my modesty and left the room so I could get undressed.

He completed a massage on my back and shoulders and offered me water .

It was a very relaxed , informative and professional experience.

Considering I was only David's second massage, since he had began his training course, I would have believed that he had been practising for many years.
      Interpersonal skills were perfect.
I was welcomed, offered a drink of cold water and he took me through the health questionnaire and explained that this was a chance for him to make significant changes in his life, after many years as a chef.
His touch was appropriate at all times, he added pressure where he felt it may benefit me talking me though the rationale for this at all times.
I felt very at Ease with David and felt extremely relaxed during and after my treatment and, I had the best nights sleep I had in about 2 years, which I believe was due to the massage and the friendly personable manner with which David conducted himself.
I would happily recommend others to assist this lovely gentleman on the pathway to his new career.
I wish you the very best of luck David and look forward to meeting you and your 'magic hands' again, very soon.
