I have had 2 massages with Yan.
      Massage 1:
For this first one, I put Yan in a bad position. I was very late and asked her to adapt to my schedule, asking that we finish at a certain time because I had an event to attend to in the evening. As a result, we didn't have much time (about 30 minutes, perhas even a bit less). We decided to focus on my back, which was very sore at the time. Yan kept her cool but I could see this was adding pressure for someone in training. She still managed to work fast, create an ambiance with music and lighting, and was really focused on her work. I wasn't super delighted by the massage itself but I think it was more due to my stress and schedule. When I finally relaxed, it was over! My fault, and I really couldn't say if her technique was good or not at the time. I thought there was room for improvement, but didn't want to judge as, like I said, I was impressed by her adaptability and her willingness to still make it a good experience with a clearly difficult client.

      Massage 2:
I really enjoyed this massage a lot more and I think it was a much more "normal" performance as I arrived on time, we had time for the massage etc...
I definitely saw A LOT of improvement compared to last time, and honestly it went beyond timing issues. I think Yan has definitely worked on her techniques, she had much more different things to try and she also worked out by herself where I was tensed and which zones needed more work. It was very relaxing, a wholesome experience with music, time to relax etc... The only thing I would say, compared to the salon experiences I'm used to, is that perhaps there is a bit more discontinuity between the moves. It feels a bit less fluid, routine, and a bit more experimental, which is, in my opinion, completely normal for someone who is still in training. Perhaps that's the point to work on still, to make sure the transition from one type of move to the other feels a bit more natural, like a choregraphy. Yan worked on my back, legs, arms and hands and face. The face massage was really awesome, I really enjoyed it!!! It was my favourite part, but I would say that the whole experience was really close to what I usually experience in a salon and I really enjoyed it. Bravo!!!!

A lovely massage of my left shoulder which was very stiff before Yan started to work on it. She used a number of techniques to work the muscles and I felt better afterwards. Thank you

Yan was very professional. She went through my health history and current status. She took time to understand me and my expectations and what I wanted from the session. She regularly checked if the pressure was too much or too little. At the end of the session I felt that I had more mobility in my shoulders and my posture was a little better. Yan also advised me to drink lots of water. As a general rule I prefer a much deeper tissue massage but that said I didn’t ask for more pressure and I was happy enough with the massage overall.
