Vera is a massage teacher, massage therapist and home-educating mum. “For me, combining massage and education are the two halves of the whole”, Vera said.
Vera is a great massage therapist and won 2nd place in freestyle massage in the 2018 National Massage Championship. She practices massage in south London, where her clients coming from all ‘walks of life’.
Before massage, Vera worked as a scientist (a master in molecular biology and virology), freelance writer (sailing magazines), sub-editor in a local newspaper and a teacher. She also published a book. “I have gathered a range of skills from all my previous experiences and apply them while teaching massage.” For Vera, “it’s a joy helping students to follow their dreams and become a massage therapist, to see them grow.”

What’s your experience at Bodyology?
“As a student in the diploma program, the Bodyology training is a life-changing experience, not only a massage course,” Vera says. The experience includes becoming aware of your own body and posture, mindfulness, meeting like-minded students, learning about yourself, improve your communication skills and more, all through an amazingly supportive and playful atmosphere. And the knowledge you gain in this course is second to none. And by getting it you can offer a lot more than clinical knowledge of the human body to your future clients.
