Rebecca CWShine
ANATOMY TUTOR SHEFFIELD

I believe learning should be fun. Growing up, school didn't work for me. I was expected to fit into a system that didn't suit me and many others. That experience changed my life. Instead of walking away, 20 years ago, I became a teacher.

Since becoming a teacher, I've walked alongside adult learners, helping them discover what they're truly capable of. My classroom has no rigid rules and no one-size-fits-all approach. Every student brings something special, and my job is to build on that, to meet people exactly where they are.

I love sparking curiosity. I love the moment a student starts asking questions, especially about the human body, which never stops being fascinating.

My promise to every student is simple: you will feel seen, heard, and supported, and you will succeed.

Rebecca, why massage?
Touch is essential to life. Without it, we can't truly thrive. In today's fast-paced world, massage is a way to nourish yourself, both body and mind.

What would you do if not massage therapy?
Teach! Lucky for me, I get to do both. Or to open an art studio with a bookshop and a little cake shop attached.

What inspires you in life?
My mistakes are mine, and I own them. And next I will make better ones.

What's your life motto?
Ohana ( in Hawaiian, a big family) and Namaste.

What advice would you give students?
Never be afraid to ask questions. There is no such thing as a stupid question.

What's your experience at Bodyology?
I trained here. It opened my eyes to a whole new world. I felt at peace. I loved it so much I stayed to teach.

What do you love about Bodyology?
It's inclusive, safe, encouraging, and supportive. A place where you can find your own way, and your own inner peace.
